The problem

Understanding how poor ergonomics and aging furniture affected the garden experience.

The outdoor furniture in the Hercules Brewery garden had become outdated, uncomfortable, and poorly adapted to the needs of visitors. Many of the existing pieces lacked ergonomic considerations, making them uncomfortable for prolonged use and limiting how people interacted within the space.

Additionally, some elements presented safety concerns due to their condition and design. As a result, the furniture did not support the social and relaxed atmosphere that the brewery aimed to create for its clientele.

This raised the opportunity to redesign the outdoor furniture to improve comfort, safety, and usability while encouraging social interaction in the garden space.

The solution

Enhancing the outdoor experience at Jardín Hércules through ergonomic furniture design.

The proposed solution was the ergonomic redesign of the existing table benches to improve comfort, safety, and usability within the garden space. The new furniture was designed to support the way visitors gather, eat, and socialize at Jardín Hércules.

The design balances functionality and aesthetics, creating seating that enhances the user experience while preserving the visual identity and atmosphere of the brewery environment.
